Real Time Scanning Option in TPM

RTS is an optional feature in The Production Manager software system (TPM).

This real time scanning sub-system integrates fully with The Production Manager. RTS is the solution for any production facility that wishes to gather work-in-process information, quality data, and/or payroll data during the daily manufacturing process.

RTS is designed to capture workin- process at critical points as the product moves from area to area. There is no limit to the number of areas that can be defined for WIP scanning. The Quality Scanning application permits quality control personnel to roam the shop floor with hand held scanners. The Off- Standard Pay Code application is designed to permit the supervisor to use the hand-held devices to start and stop the off-standard process and scan the work produced. There is also a realtime Modular Pacing application which permits the workers in a module to observe both their daily and current efficiency. A number of reports are available on demand.
