QCS has been designed to
work as an integrated module
within the TPM shop floor
control system. This module
provides the Quality Control
data collection and reporting
functions for the production
floor.
QCS provides an unlimited number of
quality codes with descriptions and
associated severity levels.
Quality data can be captured by
employee, cut/lot number, style,
quality checker, quality code,
quantities checked, defects found
and severity code.
The data can be captured in batch or
real-time. The quality checkers can
be located at permanent physical
locations and/or they can rove the
factory and perform in-line control.
There are no limits to the number of
quality inspectors that can be
supported by QCS.
The reporting in QCS provides a
summary and detailed view of
employees, quality codes, dates,
departments, severity codes, and
other quality related information. This
system can also up-load the quality
data to a host computer.
Additionally, QCS is also
available to the TPM Web-
Reporter which enables reports to be
viewed remotely and run over the
internet.
