NGC is excited to be a sponsor of Apparel Magazine’s 2013 Business and Technology Leadership Conference at New York's Roosevelt Hotel on October 31. And we're honored to lead two technology topic briefings at the conference where retailers, manufacturers and apparel brands are encouraged to discuss real-world executive issues and preview technology solutions from leading industry suppliers.
Mark Burstein, NGC's president of sales, marketing and R&D, will lead two sessions at this year’s conference. The first briefing, “Executing Fast Fashion,” focuses on the importance of lead time reduction and why PLM and Supply Chain Management are both essential to delivering on the promise of fast fashion. During a second briefing on “Mitigating Risk Through Vendor and Product Compliance,” Burstein highlights best practices for monitoring, managing, and streamlining the complex issues of an effective sourcing strategy.
We're especially pleased to have one NGC's customers, Fashion Avenue Sweater Knits, present the closing keynote address for the conference. Austin Mallis, president of operations for Fashion Avenue Sweater Knits, will share how Fashion Avenue Knits, a supplier to such leading retailers as Wal-Mart, Kohl’s, Macy’s, Belk and Dress Barn, systematically evaluated its operations and processes to chart an effective information technology path forward. Attendees will also get an inside look at the strategy and vision that brought it all together.
Apparel’s Business and Technology Leadership Conference is one of the fashion industry's "must-attend" events, and NGC is proud to play such a key role in this year's conference. We look forward to the many networking and strategic planning opportunities, and we hope to see you there.
